Producing a functional mammalian protein often necessitates using a mammalian host to ensure proper posttranslational modification and function. Protein expression in our proprietary serum-free Expi293, FreeStyle 293, and FreeStyle CHO-S suspension systems allows for rapid production of functional, soluble proteins.

What do I need to provide as starting material?

We can use the expression vector you already have, or we can begin the project by constructing the expression vector for you. We recommend that you start with a GeneArt expression-optimized gene, which can improve expression and subsequent protein yield.

How long does the service take?

Most mammalian expression services projects are completed in 5–6 weeks (including purification).

What does the service deliver?

You will receive purified protein and a comprehensive data report covering the expression and purification.
