Our comprehensive AGS product range includes a choice of jars and containers as well as simple, clean and easy-to-use AnaeroPack Anaero™, AnaeroPack MicroAero™ and AnaeroPouch Anaero™ sachets which create an optimal environment for growth, without the need for the addition of water, catalyst or hydrogen.

Atmosphere Generation Systems are versatile systems available in a standard format (boxes and jars) or compact plastic pouch format. This system can be tailored to your needs and can accommodate small or large numbers of plates. The system is suitable for the transportation, culture, selective isolation, and susceptibility testing of non-aerobic organisms.

  • These sachets produce a suitable gaseous atmosphere for growth of anaerobic microorganisms.
  • Rapidly achieves anaerobic atmospheric conditions for growth of fastidious anaerobes. The sachets provide improved recovery with increased colony size to aid in presumptive identification. They enhance the survival of obligate anaerobes.
  • Within 30 minutes, an atmosphere of <1% oxygen supplemented with carbon dioxide is generated – ideal for the growth of anaerobes.
  • These single-use sachets produce an optimal gaseous atmosphere for growth of microaerophilic microorganisms.
  • Rapidly achieves atmospheric conditions for the growth of Campylobacter spp. and other microaerophilic organisms. The sachets remove oxygen and produces carbon dioxide quickly and safely.
