International students possessing the appropriate documentation to study within the United States are eligible for the Thermo Fisher Scientific Antibody Scholarship Program. Please submit an application on our website before the published application deadline.

Please submit an application on our website before the published application deadline and attach your supporting documents.  Supporting documents can also be emailed to AntibodyScholarship@thermofisher.com.

Please submit an application under the category which will fit your enrollment at the beginning of the semester for which the scholarship is being awarded. An incoming freshman or a freshman with one semester completed will apply as a freshman. If you have completed your first two semesters of college, you would apply as a sophomore. The scholarship committee understands that students may not have updated GPAs or class schedules for the upcoming semester by the deadline. This will be taken into consideration when reviewing your application.

The scholarship is open to any student who will be attending an accredited university or college in the US for the semester in which the scholarship is being offered. This can be full-time or part-time students.

We do not require official transcripts for the application process. Our scholarship committee does not review applications until after the deadline. However completing an application well in advance of the deadline will allow you to avoid any last-minute issues with a submission failure or internet outage.

If awarded a scholarship you will be required to submit an official transcript information at that time. For an incoming freshman winner, we would require that you send us an official copy of your high school transcript and the acceptance letter to your chosen university. If you have already selected your classes for the fall semester, we kindly ask that you also submit this information.

A translated form of your undergraduate transcript with the explanation of the grading system will be fine for the application process. If you’re selected as an award winner, we will need for you to submit an official copy of your transcript in its original form.

There are no limitations for letters of recommendation submitted on your behalf, although many students submit 1 to 3 recommendations. They can be attached to your application, emailed to AntibodyScholarship@thermofisher.com, or mailed to:

Thermo Fisher Scientific

Students should apply under the application that fits their enrollment at the beginning of the semester for which the scholarship is being awarded. Since you will be a graduate student, please apply under this category. Please write “N/A” in the GPA field. The scholarship committee understands that students may not have updated GPAs or class schedules by the deadline. This will be taken into consideration when reviewing applications. If you’re selected as an award winner, we will review your official transcript that is “pass/fail.”

The Thermo Fisher Scientific Antibody Scholarship Program is not awarded on a rolling basis. All applications are reviewed after the published deadline. The scholarship committee is looking for well-rounded students with a passion for science who best fit one or more of Sponsor’s values of Integrity, Intensity, Innovation or Involvement, as demonstrated by the application.

Yes, the application materials are kept confidential. Only the scholarship committee sees the application material and information is kept confidential among them.
