Protein Dialysis, Desalting, Concentrators, and Small Molecule Removal
Salts and detergents used in protein sample preparation can adversely affect protein function and stability, interfering with downstream analyses. We offer a variety of resins and specialty devices in multiple formats for the efficient removal of salts and small molecule contaminants from protein samples. These products exhibit efficient and consistent performance and high sample recovery. In many cases, downstream analyses may also require that proteins and other biomolecules be at a higher concentration. To this end, we offer ultrafiltration protein concentrator devices that accommodate a wide range of sample volumes, remove excess liquids and buffers, and even exchange buffers. For removal of small molecules such as unconjugated fluorescent dyes, biotin, excess crosslinkers, and other reaction by-products, Pierce Dye and Biotin Removal Spin Columns can be used to achieve exceptional results.
