Introducing the Gallery Enzyme Master family of enzyme analyzers, the first automated enzyme analyzers designed specifically for enzyme assay applications. Unlike UV-Vis spectrophotometric enzyme assays, Gallery Enzyme Master systems efficiently manage many different enzymes and measuring conditions with a single, reliable instrument. These systems feature custom software and pre-prepared reagents that enable fully automated reagent additions, incubations and measurements, saving time, eliminating manual errors and improving method robustness. Gallery and Gallery Plus Enzyme Master systems offer the smartest and fastest way yet to streamline method development and deliver reliable results for enzyme assay analysis.
Our Gallery Enzyme Master family of enzyme analyzers, the first fully automated discrete analyzers specifically for enzyme assay applications, won the prestigious 2022 innovation award from R&D 100.
You don’t have to settle for low-throughput UV-Vis enzyme assays or microplate reader methods which suffer from temperature stabilization, absorption correction, and edge effect with limited automation options. With Gallery Enzyme Master discrete enzyme analyzers, samples are simultaneously prepared and waiting in the queue, enabling these systems to deliver results quickly and efficiently. With our reliable instrumentation, you can facilitate easy method transfer from R&D to the QA/QC floor. The flexibility and automation of Gallery Enzyme Master systems allows you to meet all of your lab’s current and future needs. Gallery and Gallery Plus Enzyme Master enzyme analyzers offer:
True high-throughput, direct-read analysis with a capacity of 200–350 photometric tests per hour and workflow-based operation suitable for all operator skill levels. Built-in barcode readers also enable traceability of samples and reagents. An optional electrochemical measurement (ECM) unit enables parallel pH and conductivity measurement in additional to photometric analyses.
Flexible method parameters for each enzyme type enable enzyme-specific incubation temperatures, incubation times, blank measurement and data collection rates with measuring wavelength coverage from 340–880 nm. Incubation temperatures are available from 25–60°C.The custom software makes both method development and method transfer easy. Liquid addition and mixing are fully automated. Sample, buffer, and substrate addition sequences can be defined according to your specific method requirements.
The user interface enables user administration and creates an audit trail. The software ensures that raw data is time stamped and fully traceable and enables LIMS connectivity. Additionally, an IQ Kit provides instrument validation. Raw kinetic data is available for further processing and the system provides flexible result calculations for enzyme activity and enzyme assay.
The Quick Start button enables the system to warm up quickly. The analyzer controls precise incubation temperature to ±0.3°C. Smart incubation temperature means samples are run in the order of low to high temperature requirements, the system prevents samples from overheating and incubation times are accurate to the second.
Thermo Scientific DECACELL cuvettes enable real-time kinetic measurement without edging effects. Sample consumption is just 2–240 µL for the lowest waste generation and disposal costs. Additionally, the disposable nature of these cuvettes ensures no carryover to improve the reliability of your results.
“Our enzyme assays were developed and standardized based on legacy discrete analyzers. Our continued collaboration with Thermo Scientific resulted in improved and customized software for enzyme assays, and we replaced all the legacy discrete analyzers with the new Gallery Enzyme Master enzyme analyzers. The Gallery Enzyme Master delivers an efficient solution to the challenges of enzyme analysis, providing a tight temperature control, generating robust results. A major advantage is that the Gallery Enzyme Master makes transferability across the globe easier by enabling distribution from a central method development lab.”
— Sofie Wendel, Senior Department Manager, Assay Technology & Analytics at Novozymes A/S
“When needing an alternative for our aging population of Discrete Analyzers, we decided to replace it with the new Thermo Scientific Gallery Plus. The Gallery Enzyme Master ensures that we can continue with temperature-controlled measurement of the activity of our enzymes. We use the Gallery Enzyme Master for R&D development and QC release on one easy-to-use, automated system. A big advantage is the central, global management of the measuring protocols. This makes assurance of the use of the latest updated methods easier than ever before.”
— Erica Fritse, Global QC Governance Manager at DSM
