The MagMAX Dx Viral/Pathogen NA Isolation Kit with KingFisher Apex Dx is designed to be part of an automated modular testing workflow that helps maximize nucleic acid yield and delivers precise results.
The workflow includes fast automated procedures that allow for 96 samples to be processed on KingFisher Apex Dx Purification System with ~30 minutes instrument run time. There are two workflow options available to select from with one single script (200 µL workflow or scalable 200–400 µL workflow).

The Applied Biosystems MagMAX Dx Viral/Pathogen NA Isolation Kit is a magnetic bead technology nucleic acid purification kit intended for the isolation and purification of viral and bacterial nucleic acid from human respiratory biological specimens for qPCR downstream application (see below). The kit is intended for use by qualified and trained clinical laboratory personnel specifically instructed and trained in the techniques of automated magnetic bead purification and in vitro diagnostic procedures.
