Column Compartments

Active or passive preheating ensure that the solvent entering the column matches the column temperature and reduces performance loss from temperature effects. Two column thermostatting modes – still and forced air – allow you to refine your separation to easily match your existing methods and ensure even temperatures for UHPLC analysis.

Tubing, Kits, and Accessories
Thermo Scientific Viper and nanoViper Fingertight Fittings, tubing, kits, and accessories allow you to quickly connect HPLC modules, valves, and columns. They enable leak-free connections that improve chromatographic results by minimizing dead volume.
Viper and nanoViper fittings require no tools for installation, fit narrow connections (e.g., 10-port valves), and combine simplicity with high performance.
What makes Viper fittings better than conventional fittings?
Thermo Scientific Viper Fingertight fittings, for HPLC and UHPLC systems, seal at the tip of the tubing and virtually eliminate dead volume. These reusable fittings make it easier to plumb your HPLC or UHPLC system without any tools for reproducible leak-free connections to pressures up to 1500 bar.
Optional Components
Vanquish Solvent Monitor
Select HPLC and UHPLC systems are compatible with the Vanquish Solvent Monitor, which accurately measures the liquid levels in each solvent channel and the waste container to streamline your Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). As part of the sequence ready check, the system automatically warns you if there is not enough eluent or waste capacity to complete the sample sequence, preventing system and column damage and ensuring ‘right the first time’ results.
Vanquish User Interface
View system health, performance, and equilibration status at a glance with the Thermo Scientific Vanquish User Interface. This user-friendly interface enables operators to quickly understand system status and solve problems. The multi-language interface comes with simple maintenance tutorials to guide even novice operators in keeping the system reliably delivering results.
