Software solutions for analysing sound, vibration, communication and audio quality

We offer comprehensive software solutions from HEAD Acoustics, and due to the modular structure of these software platforms, users can tailor specific solutions to their individual requirements.

Sound and vibration analysis software

ArtemiS SUITE and custom-tailored software modules

ArtemiS SUITE is a modular structured software platform for measuring and analysing sound and vibration quickly and efficiently. This solution is designed for optimising product and environmental noise, and is a universal software solution for almost all areas of sound and vibration analysis.

Tailor your software suite to your requirements with the ArtemiS SUITE modular software platform. The ArtemiS SUITE is based on 3 pillars, providing the full range of functionality users demand:

  1. Troubleshooting
  2. Standardised testing and automation
  3. API / System integration

HEAD System Integration and Extension

HEAD acoustics System Integration and Extension allows ArtemiS SUITE to be seamlessly integrated into your own operating processes and existing system landscape. It also facilitates secure programmatic access to users’ own recording and analysis results, such as from MatLAB®.

The following extensions are available:

  • ASX 00: System Integration and Extension Guidelines
  • ASX 01: Data Access API
  • ASX 02: Data Processing and Representation API
  • ASX 03: SQala Extension API
  • ASX 04: Data Acquisition API
  • ASX 05: Documentation and Metadata API
  • ASX 06: Data Processing Add-In API

PROGNO[I]SE – Software for transfer path analysis and synthesis

PROGNO[I]SE is a software program for binaural transfer path analysis and synthesis (BTPA/BTPS). With the help of transfer path analysis, the influences of individual sound paths and the general sound quality of vehicles, machinery and other products can not only be predicted by means of figures and graphics, but also be made binaurally audible.

Binaural recording and playback technology ensures the best possible realistic sound playback. Different methods are used depending on the application.

Compact Analysis

Compact Analysis is the module for beginners as well as occasional users. It is particularly well suited to troubleshooting and checking statutory level limits. It centers on highly simplified operation. With default presets for 12 analyses, Compact Analysis makes it easy to analyse sound and vibration data.

Compact Analysis can be used to load and analyse sound recordings made with the SQuadriga III and SQobold handheld systems.

HEAD Companion

HEAD Companion is an app that enables the handling of HEAD acoustics data acquisition systems, sensor libraries, and our HDF files. It is free, license-free full software version for viewing, editing, and playing back HDF files.

HDF files can be recorded or created with frontends from HEAD acoustics or with the ArtemiS software, for example. For all users without ArtemiS suite licenses, who occasionally come into contact with measurements or analysis results in the HDF format, HEAD acoustics provides an uncomplicated solution.

ArtemiS SUITE ASM 4x

ArtemiS SUITE is a modular software platform, with various modules for modal anaysis covering:

  • Signal acquisition and processing
  • Analyses and standardised tesing
  • Automation
  • Structural Dynamics
  • Acoustic Evaluation

Telecommunication and audio software

ACQUA

ACQUA is a measurement and analysis software for electroacoustic tests for optimising voice quality and audio quality. The highly sophisticated software in combination with the hardware platform labCORE forms a precise, automated and flexible system for R&D, conformance tests and quality control of devices and systems.

ACOPTs – ACQUA options

ACQUA options (ACOPTs) allow individual tailoring of the software performance to specific user requirements. Including:

  • Tools for signal generation and analysis
  • Special calculation methods for psychoacoustics
  • Various methods for instrumental evaluation of speech quality using Mean Opinion Score (MOS) values
  • Options for clear result presentation like quality pie charts

Contact us to discuss what option(s) are best suited to your application.

ACQUA standards

ACQUA standards provide complete implementations of all relevant international standards. (For example from 3GPP, ITU-T, ISO, IEC, ETSI, TIA, GCF, CTIA and GSMA for voice and audio quality). HEAD acoustics implements the ACQUA standards in databases for automated testing according to typical requirements.

HEAD acoustics Quality Standards

The HQS test suites developed by HEAD acoustics enable a manufacturer to measure and to analyse their products beyond international specifications, and to optimise the product quality.

Batch Processor

Batch Processor is an ideal tool for users who want to avoid the time-consuming task of manually processing large amounts of speech signal files. It enables automated processing of large amounts of speech signal files in batches with dedicated supported calculation methods, and can be extended with additional calculation methods at any time.

VoCAS (Voice Control Analysis System)

The VoCAS software realistically and objectively evaluates the speech recognition quality of devices such as smart speakers, smartphones, tablets, and multimedia systems in vehicles, in complex scenarios. It supports the optimisation and benchmarking of any device incorporating speech signal processing and speech recognition.

TUNE

The stand-alone analysis software TUNE allows automatical and reproducible evaluation of radio broadcast impairment effects to the audio signal. It analyses the processed audio output of receivers while considering human perception of typical disturbances. The evaluation is conducted in a lab based on auditory tests. The analyser software provides various sound environment scenarios for the evaluation (for example different car cabins).
