Software

The CTS DynaCellect Magnetic Separation System comes with two protocols: isolation and bead removal. If you want to customize a protocol, the intuitive, user-programmable interface enables you to create and manage all instrument actions. When customizing the protocol, you can:

  • Engage or disengage the magnet
  • Open or close the pinched valves
  • Change the pump speed from ~2–150 mL/min
  • Change the specified volume of the pump
  • Change the rocker angle from 1–30°
  • Change the rocker speed from 1–30 RPM
  • Change the air pressure sensor (max 2 bar)

Once you have an optimized protocol, you can switch to clinical manufacturing mode, which will lock down your optimized protocol. In this mode you can perform the following standardized cell processing steps:

  • Cell isolation
  • Cell depletion
  • Bead:cell binding and incubation
  • Bead removal
  • Ready for sterile sampling for IPC/QC
  • Operator mode (locked software)

Clinical manufacturing mode also includes an optional software module that supports:

  • Enablement of 21 CFR part 11 compliance (software)
  • DeltaV communication via OPC UA
  • Providing a summary file (sample ID, run ID, SUT lot, bead lot, operator, date)
  • Preparation of barcoding through the USB port
