Cas9 lentivirus for screening and high-efficiency editing

Invitrogen LentiArray Cas9 Lentivirus provides an efficient method to drive stable Cas9 nuclease expression in a wide variety of cell types, including hard-to-transfect cells. The LentiArray Cas9 Lentivirus construct includes a human codon-optimized Cas9 with two nuclear localization signals to facilitate efficient delivery into the nucleus. This CRISPR-Cas9 lentivirus gives you the ability to create a stable pool of Cas9-expressing cells or to isolate stable Cas9-expressing clones.

LentiArray Cas9 Lentivirus can be used in screening applications with LentiPool and LentiArray CRISPR libraries or targeted gene experiments with LentiArray CRISPR gRNAs or TrueGuide Synthetic gRNAs.

In this CRISPR viral delivery system, an EFS promoter on the lentiviral construct drives Cas9 protein expression, while a blasticidin resistance gene allows for straightforward selection of transduced cells. In addition to the nuclear localization signals, the encoded Cas9 nuclease also includes the V5 epitope tag for easy detection of Cas9 proteins.
