The following databases allow DNA labs to search and estimate the Y-STR haplotype frequency across populations for forensic and paternity casework. Yfiler™ and Yfiler™ Plus kits are engineered for >99.99% concordance to facilitate upgrade between the two kits and maximum usage of available Y-STR databases.

*The Yfiler Plus kit contains 10 additional loci that increase discriminatory capacity beyond that of the original 17 from the Yfiler kit, and may help resolve close male relatives.
