Perform agarose gel electrophoresis of nucleic acids using tanks, combs, power supplies, and other accessories of Thermo Scientific™ Owl™ Horizontal Gel Electrophoresis Systems. Choose among the following format series: large (A1-A6), micro (C2-S), wide (D2-D4), and mini (EasyCast™ B1-B3).
Thermo Scientific™ Owl™ A1, A2, A2-OK, A3-1, A5, and A6 systems are large gel running chambers and external casting trays for high throughput and detailed analysis of DNA or RNA by agarose gel electrophoresis. Dams for each system allow casting of different gel lengths. A6 and A3-1 systems contain 10 evenly spaced comb slots to accommodate up to 600 samples in a single gel. The A5 system provides buffer recirculation for optimal running performance.
The Thermo Scientific™ Owl™ C2-S system is a micro gel casting and running chamber for simple DNA or RNA agarose gel electrophoresis with a small number of samples.
Thermo Scientific™ Owl™ D2, D3-14, and D4 systems are wide mini gel running chambers and external casting trays for routine, high throughput DNA or RNA agarose gel electrophoresis. Each system includes four comb slots to run several rows of samples when desired. Excellent for screening PCR samples or routine DNA fragment analysis.
Thermo Scientific™ Owl™ EasyCast™ B1, B1A, B2, and B3 systems are mini gel casting and running chambers for routine DNA or RNA agarose gel electrophoresis. Each system includes two comb slots to run two rows of samples when desired. The B3 system provides buffer recirculation for optimal running performance.
