Select or design TaqMan® probes using the TaqMan® OpenArray® Plate Configurator or Custom TaqMan® Assay Design Tool respectively. QuantStudio™ 12K Flex TaqMan® OpenArray® Genotyping Plates are delivered with assays dried down in the through-holes you specify. Mix DNA samples with TaqMan® OpenArray® Master Mix in TaqMan® OpenArray® 384-well sample plate.

Load sample mixes onto QuantStudio™ 12K Flex TaqMan® OpenArray® Genotyping Plate using the QuantStudio™ 12K Flex OpenArray® AccuFill™ System. The plate is encased with an alloy bottom for easy handling. Simply apply the adhesive lid and fill with immersion fluid. You can then perform on-line cycling on the QuantStudio 12K Flex system. To increase your throughput even more, as an option, you can amplify your on the Dual 96-well GeneAmp PCR System 9700 and perform an endpoint plate read using the QuantStudio 12K Flex system; TaqMan® SNP Genotyping Assay MGB probes provide a fluorescence signal for the amplification of each allele.
The data is plotted in an allelic discrimination plot with FAM fluorescence signal on the y-axis and VIC fluorescence signal on the x-axis. Software tools enable converting the raw data into genotype calls (e.g., homozygotes and heterozygotes.)
