The QuantStudio™ 3D Digital PCR Chip enables a simple and streamlined workflow. Unlike other methods that require multiple transfer steps and upfront sample digestion, the QuantStudio™ 3D Digital PCR Chip is simply loaded and sealed—ready for PCR and analysis. With the ability to thermal cycle up to 24 chips at one time and taking less than 30 seconds to read each chip, the QuantStudio™ 3D Digital PCR System enables a simple, streamlined workflow to perform digital PCR.

Absolute quantification at your fingertips
Absolute quantification by digital PCR is made possible by thousands of individual reactions running in parallel. Manufactured from a silicon substrate and etched with 20,000 consistently sized nanoscale reaction wells, the QuantStudio™ 3D Digital PCR Chip enables more controlled sample loading and less reaction dropout than droplet-based approaches, ensuring higher precision for absolute quantification.
Digital PCR extends the performance of existing TaqMan® Assays enabling applications the benefit from higher sensitivity, precision, or absolute quantification. Such applications include rare mutation detection (otherwise known as looking for a needle in a haystack such as in cancer samples), virus & bacteria quantification and detection (getting an absolute count of pathogens detected), genetically modified organism detection (detecting a GMO seed where in places it shouldn’t be), next generation sequencing workflow optimization (accurately quantifying NGS libraries and validating sequencing results), and reference standard quantification (developing a reference for your real‐time experiment when it doesn’t exist).
