It has recently come to our attention that scammers have been targeting our customers by sending fraudulent emails instructing them to make payments into unauthorized bank accounts. These emails have been made to appear as if they originate from Thermo Fisher, or from an authorized Thermo Fisher employee.

To prevent fraud by potential scammers, we would like to advise you to always take the following precautions:

Be aware of unsolicited calls and emails with suspicious language, emails with incorrect email addresses.

If in doubt, do not heed the caller’s or sender’s instructions. Do not process any payments related to these invoices.

If the instruction, emails or documents appear to be suspicious or include incorrect email addresses and/or new payment instructions or if anything appears to be unusual, please contact your respective Thermo Fisher finance partners for clarification immediately.

Please verify the banking details with cross-reference between contract and value-added invoice before processing payment.

If you receive notice indicating any change of registered name of our Company, regardless of the form it is sent, please contact your respective Thermo Fisher finance partners for clarification immediately by using the information that you already have on file (phone call or email). Any name changes of entities registered in mainland China can be verified according to information disclosed on platform of National Enterprise Credit Information Publicity System.

Please be reminded that Thermo Fisher Scientific does not communicate any change in bank account via emails/telephone /sms. If you receive any calls and/or emails purporting to change our bank account details or requesting for payments to be made to other bank accounts, please contact our treasury team directly for clarification immediately.
