Here you will find out what your peers have to say about the original Qubit® Fluorometer. Be the first to write a review of the Qubit® 2.0 Fluorometer.
Fantastic Little Device! The Qubit is really a a great inexpensive way to measure DNA, RNA, and protein concentration. The photometers that do the same thing cost 5 times as much and often require expensive disposable cuvettes. We have had a great experience with the Qubit, highly recommended! |
Out of the Box and Ready to Go Very minimal and fast setup and with the starter kit we were accurately measuring RNA and DNA concentrations. A must have for any molecular lab. |
Great Addition to the Lab The Qubit is easy to use and very precise. We have not had any issues with it at all. Standardization is easy and quick as well. Overall a great product. Its small size also makes it great for saving bench space. |
“I trust my determinations of concentrations of DNA, RNA and proteins better.”
“Faster quantification of DNA, faster sequencing.”
“It's made it easier to measure protein concentration.”
“Better accuracy in quantitation of DNA or RNA yields more reproducible results”
“It has enabled me to quantify my samples much quicker than before”
“Yes, it has changed my workflow because it is more accuracy and sensitivity than UV spec. I so happy with Qubit. It's my new son.”
“It has enabled me to quantify my samples much quicker than before”
“Yes, I can analyze my samples quickly and trust the results more completely.”
“For cost and ease of use, Qubit is hard to beat.”
“It is faster than other quantitation methods.”
“Yes because I have been able to really quantify my RNA and Proteins. RNA was especially important because we are collecting from a very low cell number.” “I can measure just DNA.”
“I am more sure about amount of sample I have.”
“Cloning speed and efficiency increased dramatically, and qRT-PCR is more precise.”
“I have more confidence in DNA quantitation results.”
“The Qubit has made it easier to quantitate DNA after extraction so we can more accurately estimate the amount we extracted.”
“Using our UV spectrophotometer was a lot of extra work, so I dreaded measuring my samples. The Qubit is easy and accurate.”
“We use it for routine PCR. It affected in time saving and accuracy.”
“We are more confident that in the accuracy of our quantitations. People perform quantitations more often rather than estimating.”
“Trouble shooting qPCR is easier when starting material is properly characterized, and results from different experimental conditions can be confidently compared knowing that the starting amount of template was exactly the same. Also helps first strand cDNA reactions to perform optimally. The same general idea goes for DNA and protein as well.”
“I no longer worry about losing sample to measuring how much there is.” “I am more confident about my downstream design & results.”
“More reliable than spec -more confidence in results.”
“It makes the process of work a lot more efficient.”“I trust my determinations of concentrations of DNA, RNA and proteins better.”

“It saves a lot of time, especially with protein quantification.”
“It is faster then other quantitation methods.”
“More reliable quantification of low concentrations of nucleic acids. Improved reproducibility of downstream qPCR experiments”
“I have more confidence in my PCR results.”
“More confidence in quantitation”
“The big change is less time workflow. The quantification time is less, and the PCRs are OK at the first shot.”
“It's faster and I trust the quantitation more”
“Now we know exactly the concentrations of our standards in qRT-PCR, and discovered that our 'assumed' concentrations according to UV-VIS of the concentrate and calculated concentrations of the dilutions were way off and inconsistent.”
“We don't have access to a UV/Vis spectrophotometer, making DNA quantitation difficult. BQ (Before Qubit), my colleagues were estimating DNA concentration based on agarose gels. The Qubit has saved us significant time and allowed for more accuracy in downstream DNA applications.”
