Multiplex PCR is an effective way to help reduce the costs of and improve the efficiency of your microbial identification assays. The relative costs for a multiplex reaction are much closer to those for a singleplex reaction and offer substantial savings when compared to the costs of performing four singleplex reactions independently.
All TaqMan microbial identification assays are available with both FAM and VIC dye configurations accommodating the easy design of your duplex reactions. For higher order multiplexing with up to four targets, TaqMan microbial identification assays are also compatible with ABY and JUN dye configurations through Specialty Oligos.
