The SelectScreen Cell-based GPCR Profiling Service utilizes Thermo Fisher Scientific's growing portfolio of division arrested or cryo-preserved GeneBLAzer and Tango functionally validated assays for GPCRs.
You also chose whether you want your compounds profiled in agonist or antagonist mode. All of our functional cell lines are offered in both modes. Counter-screen your “hits” against our parental cell lines when utilizing our GeneBLAzer platform to evaluate non-specific effects.
A stringent validation process ensures the highest quality data possible. Each data point is performed in duplicate. Strict quality control protocols ensure that any assay results not meeting set specifications will be automatically repeated. EC50 or IC50 value determinations for each GPCR are performed with known agonist and/or antagonist (when available) to determine data validity and consistency.
All of the functional, GPCR-specific GeneBLAzer and Tango cell lines used in the SelectScreen Cell-based GPCR Profiling (SSCG) Service provide superior response profiles as a result of optimization of assay conditions and selection of high-responding cell populations. All GeneBLAzer and Tango cell lines in the portfolio were researched and developed by Invitrogen; we ensure the consistency, reliability, and performance of each cell line. In fact, the same cell lines that we use in our service can be purchased by our clients to perform internal follow-up experiments. GPCR-specific GeneBLAzer and Tango cell lines:
The GeneBLAzer and Tango cell lines in the Service are tested and documented to show a high level of performance. These assays meet the following specifications:
Listed below are the GPCR targets available for profiling. Our list of targets represents a cross section of GPCR families, with most of the GPCRs falling into the Class A category of GPCR targets, with a smaller number in Class B. We will continue to expand our panel of GPCR targets, with emphasis on a broad representation of as many families as possible. Check back often for updates to this list.
If your target of interest is not on the list below, additional catalog GPCR cell lines may be profiled using our Custom Services. View the entire list of GPCR cell lines available.
If you identify a GPCR target you are interested in screening, please contact us at selectscreenservices@thermofisher.com
