We aim to provide customers with the latest technology and the best solutions to meet your measurement needs and regulatory requirements. We initially announced the discontinuation of Thermo Scientific™ C-Series Gas Analyzers in 2005, but as we approach key dates, here are some tips to keep in mind:
Sales and support for the Thermo Scientific C-series Gas Analyzers will be discontinued beginning August 1, 2015.
While your instrument has served you well for many years, it is becoming increasingly costly and difficult to repair. This is due in large part to the fact that our vendors no longer manufacture many of the replacement parts necessary to service your instrument. Because of this difficulty in obtaining quality parts, pricing of all Thermo Scientific C-Series Gas Analyzer spare parts will increase 15-25% after January 1, 2015.
Additionally, spare parts availability will be affected. Orders placed before January 1, 2015 will deliver as expected. Orders placed after April 1, 2015 are at risk for not being filled and orders placed after August 1, 2015 cannot be accepted. Download a list of C-Series spare parts.
After August 1, 2015, we are unable to provide service, parts support and manuals for Thermo Scientific C-Series Gas Analyzers. This includes phone, email and web support from Customer Service and Technical Support. Should you need technical support or customer service for the C-Series products before this time, please call us at (866) 282-0430.
For those facilities utilizing the Thermo Scientific Depot Repair Facility for maintenance and repair, instruments must be sent to us by August 1, 2015 in order to receive service. Please note it is possible that certain consumables and spare parts could become unavailable prior to August 1, 2015 due to supplier availability or regulatory restrictions. To arrange for a Return Authorization (RA), please contact Customer Service at 1 (508) 520-0430, option 1 or use our online form.
