Pouches, rolls and cover bags

Steriking has a broad range of heat-sealable pouches and rolls, Tyvek® LT-Blueline, Self-Sealable Pouches, Cover Bags and even pouches for Robotic Instruments.

Be assured the Steriking heat-sealable pouches and rolls complies with international standards and norms. The seals are strong to eliminate bursting during autoclaving and reduces the risk of contamination. Tyvek LT-Blueline are for low temperature sterilisation. Tyvek allows for quick passage of sterilising gas and accompanying moisture vapour whilst absorbing less sterilising agent than ordinary medical papers. MultiLine seals are extremely strong and durable.

Self-Sealable Pouches offers a quick and secure pack without a sealer. In addition, Wipak offers a self-sealable range with steam & EO indicators plus a self-sealable range with a built-in indicator strip that can be used as an internal indicator. For use after sterilisation is a range of heat-sealable and self-seal cover bags to provide extra protection to your sterile barrier system during transport and storage. Steriking Robotic Pouches are strong pouches for instruments used in robotic surgery. Again, Steriking offers a range of sizes and heat-sealable and self-sealable versions for double pouching.

Wrapping sheets (Including ProWrap SMX)

Wrapping sheets are useful for packing larger, bulkier instruments. They can be used as an inner or outer wrap and as a sterile field thereby facilitating an aseptic presentation. Be assured Steriking’s broad range of wrapping sheets also complies with international standards. Steriking offers a broad range of crepe papers, ProWrap SMX, Combi Wraps and Tray Liners.

Steriking offers a broad range of green, white, and blue reinforced crepe papers. The green and white crepe paper is made from soft special paper, which is creped to provide increased flexibility. Made from bleached, virgin wood pulp and wet strengthened. The blue reinforced crepe paper offers increased softness and drape-ability and is also made from bleached, virgin wood pulp.

ProWrap SMX is a high-performance wrap for most demanding applications. State-of-the-art technology has resulted in a unique Multilayer SMX concept combining five spunbonded and melt-blown layers (SSMMS) of polypropylene, providing superior toughness yet a lightweight appearance. The two embedded short-fibered melt-blown layers offer protection against penetration by micro-organisms.

Steriking’s Combi wraps are interleaved and is a combination of 2 colours offering easy detection of material defects. The packing process is easier when separate outer and inner layers are interleaved giving alcohol repellency.

Steriking Tray Liners are useful in instrument trays for absorbing moisture and for mechanical protection. These are virtually lint-free, wet-strengthened paper that absorbs excessive condensation. Another broad range of tray liners from standard tray liners, tray liners with an edge and non-woven tray liners.

Indicator tapes

Steriking offers a range of sterilisation tapes and indicator strips for reliable monitoring of critical parameters of the sterilisation cycle. Clear contrasting colours before and after sterilisation for safe use. Colour changes helps to detect malfunction or mistakes in loading of a steriliser. Permanent endpoint colour enables use as a record.
