HyPerforma Rocker Bioreactor

Combine exceptional control and measurement—to enhance research, process development, and seed train production applications

The Thermo Scientific HyPerforma Rocker Bioreactor is controlled by the HyPerforma G3Lab Controller and TruBio software, providing a complete, ready-to-use solution. The Rocker Bioreactor uses Thermo Scientific Rocker BioProcess Containers (BPCs) which provide up to 25 L of working volume and integrates to the pH+dO2 sensor for combined pH, DO, and temperature monitoring.

Designed to create optimal culture conditions

Thermo Scientific HyPerforma Rocker BPC is designed for use with the Thermo Scientific HyPerforma Rocker Bioreactor to create optimal culture conditions for rocked cell cultures. It has multiple ports, allowing the user to optimize the supply of gases, media, and buffers.

They are manufactured using a multi-layered, polyolefin-based, slip agent free film and are equipped with a puck sensor that unites the single-use sensors for DO, pH, and temperature in a unique configuration designed to maintain contact with the culture even at low volumes.

Key features

  • Leverages pH and DO sensor technology in a compact assembly using a chip enabling accurate, drift-free measurements
  • Puck placement allows the sensor to be welded into the center of the BPC, with the reader attached after sterilization
  • Puck sensor technology allows direct measurement comparisons and scale-up from 10 L rocker BPCs to 2,000 L stirred-tank single-use bioreactors
  • BPC film provides superior extractables and leachables profiles, water vapor and oxygen barriers and complete fluid integrity
  • RTD sensor for temperature monitoring
  • Available in 10, 20, and 50 L volumes
  • Sterilized using gamma irradiation (25-40 kGy)
