• The SphereFlash colony counter performs its counts in a simple and reliable way thanks to the Colony Lite software (included) and its patented built-in lightning system.

• For more demanding users, the software can be upgraded to the Colonies PRO version which features increased capabilities such as the ability to set user’s permission levels, LIMS connectivity, worksheets, barcode reading, reporting, audit trail, and CFR21 Part 11 compliance.

• With the optional Halos PRO app, the SphereFlash unit can be transformed to measure inhibition halos, accepting various circle approximation criteria to obtain the corresponding diameters of virtual circle areas.
