The EVOS M3000 Imaging system was designed to be the workhorse of any cell culture or research laboratory by democratizing the ability to produce reliable, stunning high-quality cell images and video. This system automatically and precisely measures cell confluency in real time, with no expertise required. This compact, upgradeable, easy-to-use system provides two-color fluorescence, color-imaging, brightfield, and phase contrast options, making it your go-to manual microscope.

The patent-pending EVOS real-time confluency tool can typically measure confluency in less than 1 second without requiring any image capture, making it excellent for eliminating user bias in routine cell culture. The output from this proprietary bioapplication correlates well with confluency measurements from other software, e.g., Cell Profiler, and is standard on all M3000 instruments.
Induced pluripotent stem cells imaged over time with the EVOS M3000 instrument. Human fibroblast-derived induced pluripotent stem cells were cultured on a vitronectin-coated 6-well plate in Gibco Essential 8 Flex Medium for 3 days. Cells were imaged with the EVOS M3000 instrument under phase microscopy with and without the automatically generated confluency mask and measurement.

Users can easily share files from the instrument via the Thermo Fisher Connect cloud ecosystem, as well as MS OneDrive, making it an exceptional solution for research teams.
Real-time image analysis for cell confluency allows rapid confluency measurements to be performed across multiple points in a sample, as well as between samples, without needing to capture and analyze still images.
As with every EVOS instrument, overlay scale bars, gridlines, or adjust brightness, saturation, and gamma correction prior to imaging.
Following acquisition, scroll through all images and video in a gallery view to tag those of interest or easily delete any you don’t want.
Powerful onboard software with image processing tools built in. The user-friendly EVOS M3000 interface allows for effortless image capture in transmitted light or fluorescence mode (left), while also facilitating the exploration of saved images through the image gallery feature (right).
