Invitrogen eBioscience Super Bright 436 dye is a polymer-based fluorophore excited by the violet laser (405 nm) that emits signal at 436 nm with high efficacy. The technology behind the Super Bright polymer dye family makes them useful for identifying low-abundance markers on a cell surface in flow cytometry.
An alternative to Brilliant Violet 421 conjugates, antibody conjugates of Super Bright 436 provide increased resolution of positive and negative populations, but with less background and less interfering dye–dye interaction than Brilliant Violet 421 conjugates. In addition, antibody conjugates of this polymer dye are significantly brighter than Invitrogen eFluor 450 conjugates and Pacific Blue conjugates.
Executing a well-designed experiment requires multiple reagents. Super Bright conjugates are fully compatible with Invitrogen UltraComp eBeads microspheres for compensation, viability stains, fluorescent dyes and other reagents commonly used in flow cytometry. Robust, highly sensitive, and stable, Super Bright conjugates easily fit into any flow cytometry panel.
We offer Super Bright 436 dye conjugated to primary antibodies for use in flow cytometry.

Invitrogen eBioscience Super Bright polymer dyes are violet laser–excitable fluorophores that expand the capabilities of multi-parametric flow cytometry analysis. This family of bright fluorophores enables the use of more markers off the violet channel and increases the detection of low-abundance antigens due to their super bright signals.
The Super Bright polymer dyes join the trusted Invitrogen Alexa Fluor dye and Invitrogen eFluor dye portfolios in providing fluorochromes compatible with the 405 nm spectral line of the violet laser.
