Thermo Scientific Nunc cell culture–treated plastics with Nunclon Delta surface are proven for consistent cell growth. Every lot of Nunclon Delta surface plastics is validated with trusted Gibco media to confirm consistent cell growth across multiple cell lines.
Nunclon Delta is a cell culture–treated surface modification that makes the polystyrene surface of your culture vessel more hydrophilic, promoting maximum adhesion for a broad range of cell types.
This tissue-culture (TC) surface is offered across multiple formats for your adherent cell culture applications.
Promote maximum adhesion for a broad range of cell types with the Thermo Scientific Nunc Cell-Culture Treated multi-well plates with the Nunclon Delta surface treatment. The open format with the raised-well rim enables convenient and secure manipulation of the cells.
Available in 4- to 48-well multiwell platesand 96-well plates and 384 well microplates
Enhance cell attachment, growth, and differentiation with EasYFlask cell culture flasks with Nunclon Delta surface treatment. The ergonomic design with angled neck and wide opening allows easy access to the growth surface by pipettes or cell scrapers.
Nunc EasYDish cell culture dishes are designed to improve handling, stacking, and transporting of cells with the help of a raised outer edge and grip ring. With our Nunclon Delta treated surface treatment, these dishes are tested and certified for consistent cell growth across multiple cell lines.
Thermo Scientific Nunc Cell Culture Imaging Products offer comprehensive solutions with flexibility and consistency to meet your needs in cell imaging applications.
Discover which formats fit your needs:
With minimum background noise, the Thermo Scientific Nunc 96- and 384-well Optical Bottom Plates offer a wide selection of ideal for cell-based fluorescence and luminescence assays. Choose the best optical bottom plate for your application.

Healthy adherent cell growth requires quality treated plastics. Only Thermo Scientific cell culture plastics endure rigorous testing with Gibco media, including cloning efficiency tests using specially selected cell lines with high sensitivity to toxic components. It’s the perfect pairing that can mean the difference between success and starting over.
Thermo Scientific Nunc flasks, dishes, and plates feature the standard Nunclon Delta cell culture–treated surface for growing adherent cells. Every lot of these TC products is tested and certified for cell growth and plating efficiency using 4 different cell types: L-929, HEL 299, V79-4, and primary chick embryo cells.
For the L-929, HEL 299, and primary chick embryo cells, growth is assessed by the percentage of surface coverage per cultureware. The growth of V79-4 cells is evaluated by the number of colonies formed per cultureware. For Nunclon Delta lot certification, the Nunc cultureware has to demonstrate:
