Gene expression profiles are often used in gene expression-based compound testing because they can indicate pathway activation or inhibition, help monitor complex changes in cellular states, or act as a surrogate for a functional target. QuantiGene Assays are especially useful in secondary compound testing, when more quantitative and robust data are required to provide more detailed information about drug compounds.
QuantiGene assays enable testing groups to:
Figure 1. Concentration responses of representative compounds from a confirmation dose-response gene expression-based test. SW837 cells in this GE-HTS assay were tested at four doses of select compounds ranging from 10 to 0.08 µM for 6 hr (96-well plates; 20,000 cells per well, n = 3 per dose), mRNA levels were measured followed by Log2 fold change calculation per gene and positivity score was determined using the PerkinElmer High Content Profiler. Positivity score was then graphed as a function of compound concentration.
Browse from hundreds of preconfigured and published panels using name, keyword, category, or gene target search to create your own custom panels. Our bioinformatics team then performs in silico panel validation to help ensure your panel will work appropriately. You can expect to receive your panel within 3–4 weeks of submission.
