Primary Antibodies for the Ultra Violet Laser

Detect more with an ultraviolet laser

Ultraviolet (UV) light-excitable fluorophores play a critical role in standard multiparametric flow cytometry. The UV laser has unique channels far from heavily occupied detectors, allowing for larger multiparameter panels. The Brilliant Ultra Violet™ dyes join the trusted Invitrogen dye portfolio in providing fluorophores compatible with the 355 nm ultraviolet laser. Brilliant Ultra Violet™ dyes are a polymer dye-based technology and compatible with both spectral flow cytometry as well as traditional flow cytometry. The expansive Alexa Fluor dye portfolio support options for immunophenotyping using UV excitation. These molecules are conjugated to antibodies used in flow cytometry experiments. By incorporating UV-excitable dyes in experiments, scientists can take advantage of a broader range of instrument lasers and channels. Super Bright, Brilliant Ultra Violet™, and Brilliant Violet™ dyes use similar polymer technologies.
