Growth Factors for Cell Culture |
Growth factors are cell signaling proteins that play important roles in cell proliferation, differentiation, and survival. In cell culture, growth factors can be supplied as serum or purified recombinant proteins. High-quality cell culture growth factors support cell health and provide stable and repeatable conditions for in vitro studies of mammalian cells. By optimizing concentrations of growth factors in cell culture, you can drive proliferation or differentiation to a particular phenotype.
Use of recombinant growth factors in mammalian cell culture gives you a higher level of control over experimental conditions, which can lead to more reproducible results in cell-based studies. PeproTech growth factors are high-quality recombinant proteins that offer consistency in quality and supply, reducing the risk of failed cell cultures and lost time.

The purity of each PeproTech growth factor lot is at least 98% as determined by SDS-PAGE and/or HPLC. In addition, each lot is tested for functionality and potency in cell-based assays.
