The HID NIMBUS Presto QNA systems (Presto QNA, Presto only, and QNA only) are specifically scripted, optimized, and validated for use with Applied Biosystems forensic extraction, quantification, and STR amplification kits. The HID NIMBUS Presto System combines the KingFisher Presto Purification System with a trusted automated liquid handling workstation to precisely purify nucleic acids from lysed samples. The HID NIMBUS QNA System can set up a DNA quantification plate, perform normalization, and set up an STR amplification plate. The HID NIMBUS Presto QNA System has the combined features of both the Presto System and the QNA System.

 

The rapid, hands-free processing and high-quality yields of the Presto systems with even the most challenging samples—including bone, tooth, and touch DNA—and the automated quantitation, normalization, and amplification of the QNA systems can help simplify workflows, improve efficiency, and offer reliable results in forensic DNA analysis. Purification

Quantification setup
