Positive cell isolation directly from human whole blood, buffy coat, or mouse/human mononuclear cells
Flow cytometry and fluorescent-activated cell sorting (FACS) heavily rely on the user working with intact cells. Flow researchers must balance removal of cell debris and unwanted cells while preserving the integrity of cells-of-interest. Dynabeads FlowComp positive cell isolation kits positively isolate cells of interest directly followed by cell release and removal of magnetic beads. No sample preparation (e.g., density gradient centrifugation or lysis of red blood cells) is required, which helps eliminate the risk of contaminating and incubating your cells with iron, dextran, or other potentially harmful chemicals that are present in lysis buffers.

Dynabeads magnetic beads combine with T cell markers to positively isolate specific T cell populations of interest. FlowComp positive isolation kits are available against four different human T cell markers.
- CD3: targets cytotoxic T cells (CD8+ naive T cells) and T helper cells (CD4+ naive T cells)
- CD4: targets T helper (Th) cells, regulatory T (Treg) cells, and natural killer T (NKT) cells
- CD8: targets cytotoxic T cells (CTLs)
- CD14: targets naive CD4+ T cells
Cells isolated with Dynabeads FlowComp kits keep their functional characteristics and are directly suitable for flow cytometry and any downstream cell-based assay.

Dynabeads magnetic beads combine with T cell markers to positively isolate your specific T cell populations of interest for your mouse studies. FlowComp positive isolation kits are available against four different mouse T cell markers.
- CD4: targets naive CD4+ T cells
- CD8: targets cytotoxic T cells (CD8+ naive T cells)
- CD4/CD25: targets regulatory CD4+ T cells
- Pan T cell: targets all T cells
Cells isolated with Dynabeads FlowComp kits are significantly purer and more viable than isolation with a column-based method (Figure 1). These cells keep their functional characteristics and are suitable to be used directly for flow cytometry and any downstream cell-based assay.
