Armadillo PCR Plates and PCR Strip Plates

Thermo Scientific Armadillo PCR and strip plates combine the rigidity of a polycarbonate frame with thin-walled polypropylene wells to help provide excellent performance under various thermal cycling conditions. In addition, our Armadillo PCR plates are resistant to warping when subjected to high cycling temperatures and remain stable after storing in freezing temperatures.

Armadillo PCR plates are available in 96- and 384-well formats and in multiple frame colors. All formats are available with clear or white wells; the white wells yield exceptional qPCR results. The robust design makes Armadillo PCR plates an excellent choice for high-throughput PCR and automated handling (Figure 1).

The Armadillo PCR plates are available in 96- and 384-well formats. They come in assorted frame colors and in a variety of formats such as skirted, semi-skirted, low profile, and standard profile. The most popular Armadillo plates are listed in Table 1 and Table 2.

The Armadillo 96-well PCR Strip Plates can be separated into 8-tube strips. The 96-well format is suitable for high-throughput operations while individual 8-tube strips are convenient for low-throughput applications. This flexible design enables for maximum scalability and helps minimize waste. Figure 2 highlights the features of Armadillo PCR Strip plates. Table 3 lists our bestselling Armadillo strip plates.
