OpenArray Plates—ideal when you have a large volume of samples or assays, a single nanofluidic OpenArray Plate run on a QuantStudio 12K Flex Real-Time System is equivalent to running eight 384-well plates
TaqMan Array Cards—best format for lower sample volumes compared to OpenArray. This format can run 8 samples per card with easy sample loading, on the QuantStudio 7 Flex or 12K Flex Real-Time PCR Systems.
TaqMan Array Plates—mid-throughput, pre-spotted 96- and 384-well plates in multiple assay configurations for use on the QuantStudio 5, QuantStudio 7, or QuantStudio 12K Flex Real-Time PCR Systems
Single Tube Assays—flexible, day-to-day experimental set-up in your own configuration and/or plate. This format can be run on all QuantStudio Real-Time PCR Systems

Antimicrobial resistance is a growing threat to public health. One of the ways in which bacteria become resistant is through the acquisition of resistance genes. These resistance genes can be shared between species of bacteria, rapidly amplifying the spread and threat of these organisms.
Improved accuracy of pathogen identification research and the associated analysis of antibiotic-resistance genes can both be efficiently achieved through real-time PCR from the same sample and panel. Our TaqMan real-time PCR assays for the detection of ABR genes can be added to your research panel or may be purchased as single tubes to help you understand or investigate ABR pathogens.

TaqMan Custom DNA Controls contain a linearized, multi-target plasmid pool used for microbial research and detection using TaqMan OpenArray Plates or TaqMan Array Cards. These controls can be included as a positive control for panel-specific amplification, and the high concentration (5 x 107 copies/µL) products can also be used to determine parameters necessary for analytical validation (e.g., limit of detection and Ct cut-off values). During real-time PCR, the control can be used as a stand-alone sample to verify assay performance and help with troubleshooting.
